President / Principal Consultant
Paul has 39 years experience in the Quality profession in a wide variety of consumer products industries, including juvenile products, toys, and instant photography.
Paul's experience includes 14 years as an engineer, supervisor, and manager at Polaroid Corporation in their instant film and camera manufacturing divisions. Subsequently he was Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance for The First Years, Inc. and, most recently, Safety 1st, Inc., manufacturers of toy, juvenile, and other consumer products.
Paul has a wealth of experience in implementing comprehensive Quality Systems, assuring Compliance with Regulatory Requirements, and integrating Quality Engineering into the New Product Development process.
He has traveled extensively to Asia and has been especially effective in forging long term Supplier Partnerships with both U.S. and Asia suppliers.
He maintains a respected reputation for knowledge and integrity with industry, suppliers, regulatory agencies and the legal community.
He has been a member of numerous ASTM standards committees for 24 years and has chaired the Bath Seat committee for 15 years. His educational credentials include a B.S. from M.I.T., an M.S. from Northeastern, and an M.B.A. from Boston University. He is also a Fellow of the American Society for Quality and a Certified Quality Engineer.
